I’ve read lots of articles and so called courses on how to make money with social media do they work? some do and some don’t. But let me tell you one thing that all these experts forget about social networking. Social networking is NOT about making money its about making friends acquaintances and providing good quality actionable content. Once you have built up your social network then you can start to make money by selling them quality products. remember you cant make money off the bat with twitter/facebook unless you have a solid base of followers and friends.
Some things not to do with social networking.
1. With twitter don’t blindly follow hundreds of people daily. Search for topics that you are interested in and can provide good insights on, once you have found a few people who are interested in the same things as you start following them and engage them in conversation. If you build a relationship you will also build trust and when someone trusts you it’s much easier to sell them something.
2. Don’t spam your links over and over again those followers and friends you have built up will quickly disappear. Make the information you are passing on valuable not spammy.
3. Don’t leave your accounts idle too long
Don’t forget it’s all about business relationships most people dilute the effectiveness of their social media by sending mixed messages. Do not send mixed messages try to keep an even balance between your personal and your business messages.
